Part of a series of 12 books being published in 2025 to commemorate the Railway 200 anniversary, this is a fascinating collection of railway photos taken in and around Bristol mostly dating from between the 1950s and the present day.

Many of the archive photos are of steam-hauled passenger and freight trains and locos on shed. Diesel classes associated with the Western Region such as “Hymeks”, “Warships” and “Westerns” also feature along with Classes 03, 08, 31, 33, 37, 45, 47, 50 and HSTs along with their replacement IETs.
